I feel Japanese traditional creativity infused in shears by craftsmen every time I use shears from Utsumi America (aka B.W. Boyd Shears). The reasons are the sharpness, the finish of high quality Japanese shears, and the excellent feeling of the shears in my hands.
Jyo EV60 shear has a simple design and excellent balance. I can easily create a stable cutting rhythm.
NYS 60 shear has a unique curve at the blade. I can easily create textures that necessary for new hair styles using the curve. I get several benefits, such as soft lines as outlines or tapers, from this shear.
NOVA WO65/B is an all purpose shear that has a certain weight and enough width to cut men's hair easily.
